Humility and Brokenness

"Broken legs but I chase perfection"
~ NF

Since the fall, man has been broken, and I have my own share of brokenness! But in pride we all fake being okay. Why? I have no clue.

However, the Beauty in all of this is, that's not the end. We have a maker that still cares about our brokenness. We just have to be humble enough to admit we are broken and need Him.

"So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, ... Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you."
~ 1 Peter 5:6-7

He has invited and assurred us that He will care for us all through our broken days on earth.

"I have cared for you since you were born.
Yes, I carried you before you were born.
I will be your God throughout your lifetime-
until your hair is white with age.
I made you, and I will care for you.
I will carry you along and save you."
~ Isaiah 46:3-4

This concept of a broken but a humble heart depending on God and finding restoration afterwards can be clearly seen in Jesus' life.

"... He took the humble position ... as a [broken] human being ... Therefore God elevated [cared for and carried] Him..."
~ Philipians 2:5-11 [Emphasis added]

I just wish my natural (surprise, surprise: broken) mind will be humble enough and think on this Care more often.
